Collagen Induction Therapy

COLLAGEN INDUCTION THERAPY (VAMPIRE FACELIFT)

Aging, long-term sun exposure, and hormonal changes cause loss of volume in the face, thinning of the skin, acne scars, pigment changes, wrinkles and fine lines. Microneedling is an incredible way to induce collagen production, creating a natural glow and balancing pigmentation. Dr. Kashyap combines microneedling with an infusion of hyaluronic acid, Botox®, growth factors, and platelet-rich plasma (PRP)– for full beauty benefits. Microneedling combined with micro-infusions can eliminate skin imperfections and change the texture of the skin by hydrating and stimulating deep layers of the dermis to regenerate collagen. This results in smooth, youthful facial contours.

WHAT IS MICRONEEDLING?

Microneedling is also known as collagen induction therapy. It is an evolving treatment modality for a growing number of dermatological conditions. Microneedling instruments usually include rows of fine needles, which are rolled over the skin to create rapidly healing punctures. Your body’s natural wound-healing response results in heightened collagen and elastin. This technique is also used to augment the delivery of topical treatment through micropunctures. This allows the skin to appear firmer, tighter, and even in texture.

Prior to the procedure, Dr. Kashyap will draw blood and separate the growth factors in the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) by centrifuge. This PRP is applied during after the microneedling to facilitate the healing process and collagen production.

WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER MICRONEEDLING

The recovery time depends on your skin type, but patients will experience facial redness for two to three days. The treatment allows your skin to absorb your topical vitamin and peptide serums – making them more effective.
