You’ll Love these Alternative Treatments to a Traditional Facelift

Our face changes as we age, mostly due to the loss of fatty and connective tissue in the skin and the stretching of the tissues from the pull of gravity. These changes can make us look older and more tired than we want, and many of us would like to reverse these signs of aging.  Fortunately, there are non-surgical alternatives to the traditional facelift that can greatly enhance your appearance, restoring youthfulness with no incisions and no downtime.  Dr. Kashyap offers several facial rejuvenation options, and each procedure is fully customized to give our patients superior, natural-looking results.

The liquid facelift is a non-surgical procedure that combines multiple treatments to improve your appearance.  This procedure uses two different types of injectable treatments (dermal fillers and neuromodulators) to treat static wrinkles and dynamic wrinkles. Each treatment is chosen specifically to address a skin problem, and injections are expertly placed in the right locations to enhance your looks naturally.

When your facial muscles contract, such as during squinting or smiling, dynamic wrinkles are formed. These are most often visible around the eyes and forehead. Neuromodulators, such as Botox® or Dysport®®, can be injected around these muscles, preventing further contractions that cause the appearance of the wrinkles.  You will notice that your skin appears smoother where the neuromodulators are injected, and these injections can prevent deeper wrinkles from forming over time.

Your skin loses volume as you age due to decreased production of compounds such as collagen and elastin and the loss of fatty tissue. These skin changes, combined with the effects of gravity, often result in sagging, droopy skin and a hollowed-out appearance around the eyes and cheeks and lines that are present whether your muscles are contracting or not. These lines are most noticeable across the forehead and from the corners of the mouth to the nose. During the liquid facelift procedure, dermal fillers can be placed to fill in these spots and create a smoother, more youthful-looking face. Injection of these fillers will erase lines and restore fullness to areas of the face such as the cheeks and around the eyes, giving you natural-looking results that erase the evidence of age!

The Y LIFT® is a popular, non-surgical approach that enhances the natural facial architecture by adding volume in strategic locations.  The highly-specialized technique restores youthful contours and is backed by the concept that a youthful facial appearance has a natural Y-shape, fuller at the top (eyes and cheekbones) and narrowing to the chin. With age, this shape widens and sags, but the Y LIFT® can recreate your youthful beauty.

This state-of-the-art procedure does not require incisions, stitches, or even general anesthesia.  With the Y LIFT®, injections are placed with a specialized titanium device just below the skin and the muscles in specific locations to re-contour the face. The device is also used to manipulate the muscle and fat tissue to provide lift and volume in certain areas. Finally, hyaluronic acid is injected in various locations to stimulate collagen production and improve facial. While the Y LIFT® procedure takes less than an hour to complete, the dramatic results can last for years.

Whatever your aesthetic concerns, we offer an array of procedures that can provide full facial rejuvenation without the need for surgery.  Each procedure is customized to your needs and aesthetic goals. At Hudson Face and Eye, we strive to make sure each of our patients is comfortable throughout their experience and thrilled with their results.
